| You are purchasing 10 grams of Miyuki beads. Miyuki Seed Bead Hexagonal Cut. Colour Name: Transparent Sapphire AB (AB=aurora borealis or northern lights) Colour No: 261 Size 15 or 1.3mm long x 1.2mm diameter. Size 11 or 1.8mm long x 2mm diameter. Size 8 or 2.3mm long x 2.3mm diameter. These are cut from seed beads so do they do not have such a large hole as a delica/cylinder bead. I started using hexagonal cut beads a few years ago and wow what an impact, the light glinting off the cut sides, like a facet on a diamond, and they just fit together like a hand in a glove. Made in Japan, Miyuki glass beads are the best, most consistent size, and less rejects than any other manufacturer. This will make your beadwork look more even and you won't have to spend time looking over your beads to discard small and large beads, that you find in Czech or Chinese manufactured beads.
