All items shown are fully hallmarkable sterling silver, that has been gold plated,  the English term for this is silver gilt, in the USA it is called vermeil.

You can  easily turn your clip earrings into pierced, or wear your favourite fashion earrings by removing the base metal backs and replace with these vermeil ones so your ears dont become sore. The larger the pad the less contact your ear has with base metal. Suggest you use Devcon epoxy, 2 part, dries clear.
