These really are bright copper coloured ear hooks. 

The wires are stamped with .925 the standard for sterling silver.  

Size:- 24mm tall by 16mm wide. The wire is .60mm thick.

The metal is sterling silver  which has been gold plated, the English term for this is silver gilt, in the USA it is called vermeil. Rose gold is made by adding copper to the gold, giving a rosy glow.
