If you are tired of loosing the gold colour on plated beads. I can guarantee this won't happen with these beads as the gold is 50-1000 times thicker than gold plate.

These  plain round beads are just classics and will give your designs an air of sophistication.

2mm bead, the hole size is .9mm these have a faint vertical seam. This fits on head pins most people stock the ones with a .7mm hole as they are slightly cheaper.

2.5mm bead, the hole size is 1mm these have a faint vertical seam.

3mm bead, the hole size is 1.1mm these are seamless

4mm bead, the hole size is 1.4mm these are seamless

5mm bead, the hole size is 1.9mm these are seamless

Rolled Gold or  known in the USA as Gold Filled contain  much more  gold than gold plate and can be worn with no problem. The gold content is 14ct.

A layer of gold is fused under heat and  pressure to a base metal sometimes copper is used. The thickness of the layer of gold is 50 to 100,000 times thicker than gold plate. The thicker the plating the more durable the finish. To be called Gold Filled at least 1/20th of the total weight must be pure gold.
