These two clasps at first glance look identical but there are three differences one is the diameter, the other the strength of the magnets, the slightly larger one is considerably stronger and will not come apart by accident while you are wearing a very heavy gemstone or glass necklace. The last difference is in the colour the slightly larger one is sterling silver that has been rhodium plated, so this will never go black and tarnish.

If you haven't used a magnetic clasp before prepare to think they are fantastic, no more fiddling around behind your neck with small clasps, these just snap together in seconds.

Size: 5mm OD 12.3mm long, + 3.2mm jump rings at both ends, jump ring has an ID of 1.8mm. Soft silver shade, strong magnets. Stamped 925 on one end.

Size: 6mm OD 11.5mm long, + 2.9mm jump rings at both ends, jump ring has an ID of 1.3mm. Rhodium plated. EXTRA Strong Magnets. Stamped 925 on both ends.
